This is a popular Chinese recipe, “Chinese Northeast Vegetable Stew with Pork casually(东北乱炖)”. As the name suggests, it’s a stew of many kinds vegetables and meat. I chose the stew of corn, potatoes, long beans and pork ribs. If you want to learn how to make this dish, you can add vegetables and meat that you can easily find without having to be exactly like me completely, there may be a new taste discovery.
Get the material ready.
Chop the pork ribs into small pieces and bring to a boil with cold water. Then move to a container for later use. If you use other meat, do the same. Cut the long beans into sections, cut the corn, peel and cut the potatoes into pieces, cut the scallions, ginger and garlic.
Pot into the right amount of cooking oil, heat. Stir-fry in ginger, garlic and star anise until fragrant.
Add bean paste and stir-fry until the oil become red.
Add the ribs and potatoes, Stir evenly.
Add water until it has overflow covered 2 cm of the ingredients.
Add long beans and corn.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add salt, Stir evenly.
