In China, people often drink wine with spicy food. Especially beer. It was great to have a cold beer and a spicy dish with it. Now, I try to make a great Chinese dish — pork ribs with spicy lotus root.
The first step is to prepare the ingredients. Blanch the ribs and drain, slice lotus root. Wash and cut others ingredients and set aside.
Heat the wok, add the rapeseed oil (or other vegetable oil), then add the ribs and fry until golden brown.
Add all the ingredients to the wok and stir until the hotpot condiment melts. Reduce the heat and continue to cook for about 15 minutes.
Add the lotus root slice,, every 1-2 minutes will stir fry next for prevent the lotus root slice stick pot, about 10 minutes can be out of the pot.
